Each portion of Organic Sheng (raw) Pu'er tea Wu Liang Origin is 4 g, the perfect amount for a single infusion. The darker leaves pressed in this small brick are illuminated by buds covered in golden down. The tea is sweet, with a delicate aroma that immediately brings to mind a walk in a fir forest. This organic tea comes from Zhengwan village, in the famous autonomous county of Pu'er. Tasting - Sight and smell The small squares of organic sheng pu'er tea Wu Liang Origin consist of compressed leaves, with variegated colors ranging from dark green, forest green and military green to light brown and khaki, with a high presence of golden buds. Once infused, the leaves release aromas of pear nectar, incense, resin, green wood and a very slight hint of leather. In the cup, the liquor is a deep golden yellow. GONG FU CHA tasting notes The first infusion of organic sheng pu'er tea Wu Liang Origin gives a delicate liquor yet with an already very defined organoleptic profile: notes of beeswax and unripe pear, then resin and finally a woody bark scent. With the second infusion, the fruity pear note becomes more intense, while a vaguely herbaceous vegetal note and a very slight astringency appear. Balsamic notes of pine needles are perceived, giving the tea a very pleasant freshness, followed by a hint of incense. With the third infusion and the following ones, woody bark notes appear again at the opening, on a fruity pear base that remains present, and a long balsamic and fresh persistence reminiscent of the aromas of a conifer forest. WESTERN STYLE Organic sheng pu'er tea Wu Liang Origin has an opening taste of sweet pear and pine resin notes, followed by fresh vegetal hints of artichoke. Next, a balsamic note of eucalyptus and an incense note reach the palate, together with a spicy hint of cardamom. On the finish, an unexpected floral note can be felt, while the persistence remains fresh and gently fruity. The body is silky and soft, with only a slight astringency. By smelling the bottom of the cup, one can detect the scent of incense and beeswax. Place of origin Zhengwan – Pu'er, China Preparation We strongly recommend infusing organic sheng pu'er tea Wu Liang Origin using the traditional Chinese method (gong fu cha) to best enjoy these leaves. Following this preparation, one square can be placed in a gaiwan of about 100 ml to obtain multiple infusions with different flavors. For a classic preparation in the Western style, we recommend one square in a 200 ml cup with water at 100°C for an infusion time of two minutes. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Contents The box contains 6 packages of organic sheng pu'er tea Wu Liang Origin of 5 portions, for a total of 30 portions.
