An irresistible dessert made with puff pastry, apples and chocolate, perfect for a sweet break or to end a dinner on a delicious note.
Cut two apples into cubes and drizzle them with lemon juice.
Unroll a sheet of rectangular puff pastry.
Mark it in half without cutting too deeply with the knife.
Pour the drained apples, a few spoonfuls of apple jam or whichever you prefer, and the chocolate chips into one half.
Make cuts on the other half of the puff pastry and close the roll.
Seal the edges well with the tines of a fork.
Brush the surface with an egg yolk and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Bake at 180° for about 15 minutes.
