On the label: information shown on the packaging by the manufacturer. Not on the label: information that does not appear on the packaging.
Each product available on the platform is listed and sold by a partner seller identified on the product page. The platform acts as a metasearch/marketplace: it facilitates discovery and checkout, but the sale is made by the seller, who becomes responsible for the transaction.
Shipping is managed directly by the partner seller. The package is sent from the seller's warehouse or logistics network and handed over to the courier. This model enables more efficient deliveries and ensures that order management is handled by the party with actual availability of the product.
On the product page, you will find ingredients, allergens and nutritional information based on the data provided by the seller or producer, namely the official label. If you have allergies or intolerances, we recommend carefully checking the product page before purchasing and contacting the seller with any specific questions.
The platform was created to promote Italian food and make it more accessible. We select sellers in the food e-commerce sector with consistent catalogs and transparent information. Each product is associated with an identifiable seller and a complete information page: we want shopping here to mean buying with confidence.
Delivery times and costs depend on the seller and destination. At checkout, you will always find an updated delivery estimate before confirming payment. For international shipments, times may vary depending on the country and courier.
Duara is an Etna wine estate based in Catania, built on the idea that wine is the story of a journey: an encounter between land, vine, people and time. Its vineyards sit on the north-eastern slope of Etna, between Piedimonte Etneo and Linguaglossa, and on the hills of Val di Noto, in Contrada Testa di l’Acqua. Fermentations are spontaneous, extraction is measured and intervention is minimal, with steel, cement, amphorae or wood chosen according to what each vineyard asks for. The goal: living, direct wines, recognisable for their identity rather than their technique. “Expression, not interpretation.” Red wine: Versi da Bere is Duara’s line built on a contradiction: a modern wine made from the grapes of old vines. The free-hand label, a brushstroke that goes outside the margins yet stays precise, tells that same story. Elegant, delicate and easy to drink, with a dynamic, balanced and authentic character. Versi da Bere Rosso comes from Contrada Sarculla in Noto, from vineyards planted in 1999 at 610 metres above sea level. Syrah (70%), Grenache (20%) and Cabernet Franc (10%) are hand-harvested in September and vinified separately in stainless steel, with indigenous yeasts and a very gentle destemming that encourages carbonic maceration. The wine ages six months on fine lees in concrete tanks and rests at least six months in bottle. Well-structured, with finesse and precision, elegant tannins and a fresh, long finish. Colour: deep ruby red with purplish highlights. Nose: pronounced ripe plum and small red berries, followed by white pepper, balsamic spices and mineral nuances. Palate: well-structured, with remarkable finesse and precision, supported by elegant tannins; the finish is fresh and long. Details: 70% Syrah, 20% Grenache, 10% Cabernet Franc · 13.5% ABV · Terre Siciliane, Noto (SR) · spur cordon, 5,000 vines/ha on stratified, stony, clay-loam soils rich in calcareous marl · maceration about 5–7 days, indigenous yeasts, 10–15% perpetual reserve wine · contains sulphites. White wine: Versi da Bere Bianco is a fresh, vertical white from Contrada Sarculla in Noto, at 630 metres above sea level. Catarratto (70%) and Grillo (30%) are hand-picked in early September, fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged six months on the fine lees in stainless steel, then rest at least six more months in bottle. The result is fine and elegant, with a mineral, saline character and a long, persistent finish. Colour: straw yellow with golden highlights. Nose: mineral and saline notes with hints of iron, joined by aromatic herbs and a delicate floral touch of hawthorn and broom, closing on white fruit with a hint of citrus. Palate: a fresh, vertical entry supported by marked savouriness; medium-bodied, with a long, persistent finish. Details: Catarratto 70%, Grillo 30% · 12.5% ABV · Terre Siciliane, Noto (SR) · vines planted in 2007, Guyot-trained, 5,000 vines/ha on stratified, stony, clay-loam soils rich in calcareous marl · hand-harvested in the first ten days of September · stainless steel, indigenous yeasts, no inoculation · contains sulphites.
