Beefeater 24 takes its name from the original production method of Beefeater, which involves maceration for 24 hours before distillation to extract maximum flavors from the botanicals. 12 botanicals, the same 9 botanicals as classic Beefeater, including juniper berries, Seville bitter orange peel, lemon peel, coriander, almonds, angelica roots, angelica seeds, and iris roots, with the addition of 3 other botanicals: pink grapefruit, Chinese green tea, and Japanese Sencha tea. Appearance: crystal clear. Smell: fragrant notes of citrus, with tones of coriander and angelica, in a crescendo of complexity and harmony from the juniper and Japanese and Chinese green tea. Taste: initially spicier notes like Japanese tea, Chinese tea, and juniper are felt, followed by the fresh and pronounced notes of citrus, from an intense and round flavor that fades into the spicy notes of coriander and angelica. Alcohol content (alc/vol): 45 percent by volume.
