Fermentation and maceration are carried out in concrete and steel tanks for approximately 18-20 days. It is aged in French oak barrels and casks for between 16 and 20 months, depending on the characteristics of the wine. After bottling, it is aged in glass for approximately 6 months. The color is intense red. The nose offers notes of ripe fruit, wild berry jam, graphite and dried violet; it is very complex. On the palate it is full-bodied and substantial, with notes ranging from vanilla to pepper, and is well balanced. Recommended pairing with pasta with meat ragù or risotto, red meats, roasts, game, braised meats and well-aged cheeses.
