Vinification of this "Bordeaux blend" takes place using the traditional method, processing the grapes through long maceration in contact with the skins at a fermentation temperature of approximately 28° C. Maturation takes place in stainless steel containers for approximately 5/6 months, followed by a further 9 months in barriques, and the wine is then aged in the bottle for approximately 12 months. The color is carmine red with clear garnet reflections. The nose reveals fruity, floral, herbaceous and spicy notes, with hints of currants, plums, cherries and blackberries, violet and vanilla, and aromas of black pepper, chocolate, walnuts and tobacco, with a balsamic finish. On the palate it is full and enveloping, dry, warm, soft, moderately fresh and tannic, with a soft, delicate, intense and persistent finish.
