The wine derives from the typical red grape varieties of Beneventano (mainly Aglianico and Piedirosso) grown in the vineyard areas of the provincial territory from the area with typical geographical indication, on clayey and moderately calcareous soils. It presents a beautiful ruby red color; on the nose it shows hints of red fruit in spirit, blackberry, and floral notes of violet. The aroma is completed with notes of dried fruit (carob), spices (cloves and licorice), chocolate, tobacco, and caramel. In the mouth, it has a full and pleasantly soft body, elegant, slightly astringent. Why it is called Bozzovich: a synergy between art and wine; a sinuous and elegant feminine figure in true Art Nouveau style conveys the seductive nature of this wine, whose captivating label is a restyling of the original poster by the artist Bozzovich, used to promote the Ocone wines in the aftermath of the First World War, and from which the wine takes its name.
