The Diletta beer from the Magis Brewery is a very good Kolsch, soft, slightly sweet, fruity and well-balanced. Diletta beer is an unfiltered, unpasteurized, high fermentation craft beer with a golden color, fresh on the palate and well-balanced thanks to its delicate character that presents pleasant fruity and hoppy notes. KOLSCH BEER: THE GERMAN HIGH FERMENTATION The first traces of what would be called kolsch can be found as early as 874 AD and by 1250 there was already a brewing office in Cologne that controlled its production. Considering that the German production landscape is mostly low fermentation, we find ourselves in front of a sort of production rarity. These are the characteristics that distinguish this type of beer: white foam with good persistence, golden and clear color, malty aroma with hints of honey and hops, well muted and dry taste, medium to medium-low body, carbonation (the bubbles, what is called 'perlage' for wines) well present.
