Organic Rosè Wine of Rosa Alcohol: 12 % vol Format: 750 ml Organic Rosè Wine of Rosa, deep and bright candy pink color for this sparkling rosé; on the nose it is complex and structured with evident notes of blackberry, mulberry, and blueberry, finishing with a pleasant aromatic vegetation reminiscent of freshly picked nettle. On the palate it is full, structured, soft, and creamy, fresh and of good persistence. The grape varieties used in our Organic Rosè Wine of Rosa are Inzolia rosa and Chardonnay; the pressing and vinification technique involves a second pressing for the Inzolia rosa to enhance the valorization of the colored extracts of these grapes. The color of our Organic Rosè Wine of Rosa is a beautiful pink with coppery reflections and the aromas are of ripe fruits referencing berries; the taste is fragrant and full with good sapidity and pleasant length. Milazzo, the producer of our Organic Rosè Wine of Rosa, is a production reality born in Campobello di Licata in Agrigento; they were among the first Sicilian winemakers, between the late 1970s and early 1980s, to highlight vinification from native Sicilian grape varieties. Their cellars are mostly underground and designed with the aim of minimizing environmental impact. Built with materials suitable for containing energy consumption and achieving low emissions in conditioning, using technologies to ensure maximum hygiene and ideal care for the product. For pressing, pneumatic presses with central membrane are used at very low operating pressures to work very gently on the grapes; the maturation of their wines in steel takes place entirely "sur lie", suspending the lees to promote the release of aromatic components from the yeast into the wine. Their barrel cellar extends entirely beneath our cellars and contains over 500 barriques intended for aging both white and red wines, and some bases for sparkling wines made by the classic method. Here the barrels are filled and monitored. The passage in barrique plays a primary role in ensuring the best evolution of our wines. The choice of their woods is fundamental. Our barriques are all produced in the best "tonnelleries" strictly with oak wood. We use a common stock of new barriques with a renewal cycle every five years. Their cutting is the most delicate moment. After the harvest, pressing, fermentation, and various paths of maturation and refinement, each wine in our collection undergoes this delicate phase, which seals the passionate work of the winemaker and their collaborators, before entering the bottle where it continues to evolve until the moment it is poured into the glass. It is in this phase that the long work of wine creation comes to completion, a journey marked by patience and technique that sometimes unfolds over many years. This is the moment when the best characteristics of the grape and the Milazzo imprint in vinification find their synthesis.
