Wine Sasà Catarratto Format: 0.75 lt x 6 Bottles Characteristics The 100% Catarratto is carefully harvested in crates in the first days of September to ensure maximum integrity of the grapes. The winemaking and aging take place exclusively in steel for a period of 8 months, preserving the purity and freshness of the wine. Tasting Notes Visual examination: Bright straw yellow color with delicate green reflections, a sign of freshness and vivacity. Olfactory examination: Elegant and harmonious bouquet, with floral notes intertwined with hints of pear, peach, and a pleasant echo of aromatic herbs. Taste-olfactory examination: The sip, consistent with the olfactory sensations, is fresh and pleasant, with good acidity and a finish of excellent persistence. Terre di Gratia: The vineyards and olive groves of Terre di Gratia are located in Camporeale, 40 km south of Palermo, precisely halfway between the north and south coasts of Sicily. This condition creates a unique microclimate, with strong temperature variations between day and night and a typically insular ventilation that mitigates the scorching summer heat. It is therefore a particularly suitable area for viticulture and olive cultivation. Our vineyards are located on a single slope of the Belice Valley, facing southeast, on predominantly clayey soils. This terroir is capable of giving the wines and organic extra virgin olive oils of Terre di Gratia elegance, balance, and softness. Rigorously cultivated organically, they extend over a total area of almost 10 hectares, resting on the slope of a hill that starts from 100 m above sea level and reaches up to about 300 m.
