D'Annunzio praised it calling it "liqueur of virtues". To make Amaro Montenegro, 40 aromatic herbs are selected, in particular spices, dried fruit, roots, seeds, barks, citrus peels, rhizomes, flowers, and woods from the four corners of the world.
