The winery, between Siena and Florence, produces genuine wines that tell the story of their territory. Between Siena and Florence, along the Cassia road and not far from the old walls of Staggia Senese, lies the Montalpruno farm: a nineteenth-century Tuscan farmhouse, which was purchased and completely renovated in the eighties by the Tosi family. Today Montalpruno is a farmhouse and winery. Ten hectares cultivated with vineyards, mainly with native varieties but also with small portions of international grape varieties, which have found a favorable soil and microclimate here. Let's talk about the international ones: the Secolare is a Merlot and Ciliegiolo, aged for 18 months in used barriques, while the latest arrival in the family is a pure Cabernet Sauvignon, with notes of berries, licorice, full and structured, produced in only 1200 numbered bottles.
