Denomination: Colli Tortonesi DOC Grape variety: 100% Timorasso Name: Monterosso Alcohol: 14.5° Format: 0.75L Production area: Stazzano (AL), Piedmont, Italy Description: The winemaking is done in a traditional way with fermentation using natural (indigenous) yeasts, aging in steel vats for 1-2 years, then in bottle for about 6 months. The color is golden yellow. On the nose intense and persistent herbaceous, floral, and fruity aromas with marked salinity. On the palate it is fresh, savory, and generous, with a clean and persistent finish. After 3-5 years tertiary aromas appear with great liveliness: light notes of flint and hydrocarbons become increasingly prominent with an extreme softness on the palate. Around 10 years the wine is at its peak balance, providing great harmony among all the elements that make it up. Recommended pairing with mixed appetizers, especially fish, fish pasta, fish and shellfish, fried fish or fish tartare, cod and potato salad. Recommended temperature: 10-12° C.
