The 2015 vintage showed a climatic analysis in three phases, characterized by marked, clear, and decisive contrasts that defined this season. A notably sunny and dry spring gave way to a hot and sultry June; a cool and rainy autumn-like summer; and a warm, bright, and extraordinarily dry September, almost similar to a typical August month. The secret of this vintage is attributed to the combination of the soil and the commitment of the winemakers: the application of gypsum, aimed at improving drainage in the medium-low areas of the hill, helped effectively manage summer waterlogging. Our increasingly sustainable agricultural practices play a fundamental role as they allow us to pursue the ideal balance and full ripeness of the grapes.
