The brick of Organic Puer Shu tea (cooked) Wu Liang Legend 2021 has a smooth and sweet taste, with notes reminiscent of undergrowth. In the cup it is clear and a beautiful bright red color. This puer shu is a Mao Cha subjected to a rapid fermentation process. Wu Liang Legend 2021 shares with most puer teas a characteristic fermented flavor, with notes of damp earth, despite having a relatively short fermentation time, which began in 2019. Our advice for this tea, since it is quite young, is to set it aside for at least two years to give it time to mature and age. This organic tea comes from the village of Zhengwan, in the famous autonomous prefecture of Puer. Tasting - Sight and smell The puer Shu Wu Liang Legend 2021 tea comes in the form of a brick with pressed leaves of various shades of brown, from darker brown to light chestnut. Once infused, the leaves smell of damp earth, wet wood with hints of anise. In the cup the color is an intense red with amber reflections, incredibly clear for a puer shu tea. GONG FU CHA tasting notes The first infusion of puer Shu Wu Liang Legend 2021 tea is sweet, with quite pronounced hints of anise and fennel. With the second infusion the body becomes denser and we find notes of leather and almost camphor. These hints remain in the third infusion and the following ones: the leather notes become more intense and the humus hints and sweetness are felt even more, enveloping the palate and remaining in persistence. IN THE WESTERN STYLE The first sip of puer Shu Wu Liang Legend 2021 tea has as its first distinctive note that of wild fennel, followed by marked sweetness with light hints of anise. The undergrowth notes arrive later, with hints of damp wood and wet earth. Finally, leather notes and strong camphor notes remain on the palate, ending in a long, sweet persistence without astringency or bitterness. Place of origin Zhengwan - Puer, China Preparation We strongly recommend infusing puer Shu Wu Liang Legend 2021 tea using the traditional Chinese method (gong fu cha) to best enjoy these leaves. For a classic preparation in the Western style we recommend 2 grams of leaves in a 150 ml cup with water at 100°C for an infusion time of one and a half minutes. It is recommended to store puer Shu Wu Liang Legend 2021 tea in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
