Lancini Franciacorta Satèn DOCG is the softest and most velvety expression of the winery in Rovato, Lombardy: a pure Chardonnay sparkling wine that elegantly tells the story of Monte Orfano. Here, the Lancini family directly cultivates its vineyards, continuing a winemaking journey that began in 1992 with the planting of the first vineyard. The northern slope of Monte Orfano enjoys special conditions: generally cooler temperatures and significant nighttime temperature variations encourage slow grape ripening, preserving aromatic finesse and natural acidity. This terroir produces a Satèn faithful to the meaning of its name: silky, soft and elegant. Chardonnay is enhanced through vinification involving both steel and oak, followed by long lees aging. The result is a refined, delicate and gastronomic Franciacorta that combines freshness and creaminess and represents one of Lombardy's most fascinating sparkling-wine interpretations.
