The Ghemme Vigna Cavegnago DOCG from the Mirù Agricultural Company is a high-quality red wine, produced from extraordinary grapes grown in the vineyards located near Ghemme, a small town in the province of Novara, in Piedmont. A little curiosity: since 1994 the municipality of Ghemme has been part of the "Cities of Wine", places carefully selected by the national association Cities of Wine, an institution present throughout the national territory made up of more than five hundred Italian local authorities that gather all those locations that stand out for their excellent wine production. This wine is produced from the grapes of two grape varieties: Nebbiolo (95%) and Vespolina (5%). Being a DOCG wine, its production is allowed only in the eponymous municipality of Ghemme and partly in the municipality of Romagnano Sesia, both in the province of Novara. This wine is characterized by a ruby red color with purple reflections. The aroma is intense and is characterized by particular aromatic notes of sour cherry, violet, tobacco, and spices. The taste, on the other hand, is harmonious and balanced, presenting a good level of persistence but above all a great structure, and closes with a slightly bitter finish.
