
The Pinot Bianco Riserva 2019 from Tenuta Castel Englar is a wonderful "all-rounder", aged a bit in steel and a bit in wood, fresh and invigorating with a delicate aroma. An elegant and charming wine. Grapes: 100% Pinot Bianco, various clones. Age of the vine: 10 years. Training system: Guyot. Location: 500-550 m above sea level, on an eastern slope with a 35% gradient. Soil: calcareous with clay and porphyry additives. Winemaking: Harvest in small boxes with manual selection in the vineyard. The grapes will be destemmed, crushed, and gently pressed at low pressure. No clarification of the must, spontaneous fermentation 100% in tonneaux. Expansion on gross lees for a good vintage, bottling in May 2020, then at least 6 months of aging in the bottle. Shelf life: 6-10 years. Alcohol percentage: 14% vol.
