The Yunnan Golden Silk Red Tea is a prized black tea from the Yunnan province of China. Belonging to the Dianhong family, it is famous for its sweet and honeyed aroma, as well as its characteristic golden leaves. Its thin, golden leaves resemble silk and are obtained from young buds covered in a fine down. Its scent is intense, with notes of honey and flowers that provide an enveloping olfactory experience. The flavor is soft and naturally sweet, with a persistent sweetness that lingers pleasantly on the palate. The infusion presents a deep amber color, clear and bright. Its processing follows a meticulous process, where fermentation and drying occur under precise temperature and humidity conditions, ensuring a rich and distinctive aromatic profile. Perfect to enjoy in the morning or afternoon, alone or paired with sweets, this tea is appreciated worldwide for its superior quality and refined taste. The 50g package makes it ideal for those who want to immerse themselves in an authentic Chinese tea experience. Place of origin Yunnan, China. Brewing method: We highly recommend brewing this tea using the traditional Chinese method (Gong Fu Cha) with a Gaiwan of approximately 100 ml capacity. Following this preparation, with 5 grams of leaves, multiple infusions can be made to best experience all the flavors of the tea. After a quick rinse of the leaves with water at a temperature of 80-90°C, one can proceed to a first infusion of 5 seconds. Then, maintaining the water at the same temperature, one can continue to enjoy the product by adding more water and increasing the previous infusion time by about 10 seconds (5 – 15 – 25…). For a more traditional preparation in the Western style, we recommend 3 grams of leaves (about 2 teaspoons) in a 150 ml cup with water at 80-90°C for an infusion time of one and a half minutes. For a better tasting experience, we suggest straining the infusion immediately after the established steeping time. The infusion times can be slightly modified to one's preference to achieve a more or less intense flavor. It is advised to store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Benefits of Red (black) Tea: The category of red teas has the least impact on our body due to the stability achieved by the product thanks to its complete oxidation. For this reason, red tea is one of the most suitable for those who want to always have a calorie-free hot beverage available. Even if in small amounts, the leaves of this category also provide polyphenols and minerals that are useful to the body without giving too much caffeine, thus promoting a pleasant relaxing effect.
