Discover the authentic essence of the Nannuo mountains with our Sheng Puer Tea (raw) Nannuoshan 2021, a creation that captures the freshness and purity of the hand-picked leaves from the wild woods and ancient trees of our land. Stone-pressed according to tradition, these leaves ensure a flawless aging process, revealing their potential year after year. When infused, the leaves of this raw puer release a soft sweetness and a complex aromatic bouquet. Notes of wood, wildflowers, artichokes, and honey intertwine in every cup, creating a golden liquor with a typical astringency that promises to evolve and soften over time. This is more than just a simple cake of tea, it is a journey into the Nannuo mountains, a celebration of our tradition and the timeless beauty of puer. A transparent vintage, an unmistakable taste. The harvest of 2021 has gifted us a standard quality production, yet not ordinary: each infusion reveals bright and crystalline tones that tell the unique characteristics of our terroir. The wild leaves and those from the ancient trees convey a unique aromatic complexity, capturing attention with an intriguing aroma and unexpected depth. As tradition dictates, each cake is wrapped in our unmistakable decorative paper, designed to celebrate the bond between our land and the centuries-old tradition of Chinese terroirs. This year, the design is a tribute to the masterpiece Flora Sinensis by Polish missionary Michael Boym, who, fascinated by the Musa basjoo (the Japanese banana native to southern China), painted a scene that embodies the strength of nature. We chose this image for its connection to the trees of our wild forests: robust, vital, and authentic. Place of origin: Yunnan, China. Preparation: We strongly recommend infusing this tea using the traditional Chinese method (gong fu cha) to fully enjoy these leaves. Following this preparation, you can use 5 grams of leaves in a gaiwan of about 150 ml to achieve multiple infusions with different flavors. After a quick rinse of the leaves in water at 100°C, you can proceed with a first infusion of 20 seconds; then, maintaining the water at the same temperature, you can proceed, increasing each time the time by 5 seconds compared to the previous infusion (25-30 ...). This tea has a longevity of about 9 infusions. For a classic preparation according to Western style, we recommend 3 grams of leaves in a 200 ml cup with water at 100°C for an infusion time of 2-3 minutes. The tea can be filtered for easier tasting and also the indicated infusion times are purely indicative, so you can adjust according to your personal taste. It is advised to store in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
