Duck in beer is a succulent and tasty dish, perfect for a special dinner. Duck meat pairs perfectly with the intense flavor of beer, creating an irresistible combination. The recipe calls for marinating the duck with beer and aromatic herbs, then slow-cooking it in the oven until tender and flavorful. The sultana raisins add a sweet note and a touch of originality to this dish. Definitely worth trying!
Every product available on the marketplace is listed and sold by a partner seller indicated on the product page. The platform acts as a metasearch/marketplace: it facilitates discovery and checkout, but the sale is carried out by the seller, who becomes the party responsible for the transaction.
Shipping is handled directly by the seller partner. The package leaves the seller's warehouse, or its logistics network, and is handed over to the carrier. This model enables more efficient deliveries and ensures that order management is handled by those who actually have the product available.
On the product page you will find ingredients, allergens and nutritional information according to the data provided by the seller or manufacturer, i.e. the official label. If you have allergies or intolerances, we recommend that you carefully check the product page before purchasing and contact the seller with any specific questions.
The platform was created to promote and make Italian food Made in Italy more accessible. We select e-commerce food sellers with coherent catalogs and transparent information. Each product is linked to an identifiable seller and a complete information sheet: we want buying here to mean buying with confidence.
Delivery times and costs depend on the seller and the destination. At checkout you will always find the current delivery estimate before confirming payment. For international shipments, times may vary depending on the country and the carrier.

Cut off the head, neck and legs of the duck.
Heat the butter in a high-sided pot.
Add the onion cut into thin slices and when it has become translucent, brown the duck for a quarter of an hour, turning it constantly so that it colors well on all sides.
Pour in the beer and bring to a boil, then lower the heat so the liquid simmers.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add the rosemary, thyme and sage leaves and let cook for one hour, taking care to baste the duck occasionally with its juices and turn it several times.
When it is cooked, remove it from the pot and keep it warm.
Remove the aromatic herbs from the cooking juices and, if it is too runny, reduce it by increasing the heat.
Add the sultana raisins, soaked in warm water and squeezed dry.
Let it boil for a few minutes.
Cut the duck into pieces and then reassemble it on the serving plate.
Cover it with its sauce.
