Honey bread is a delicious sweet appetizer, perfect to accompany cheeses and cured meats. Its origins date back to ancient times, when honey was one of the few sweeteners available. Today, honey bread has become a much-loved delicacy thanks to its sweet aroma and soft texture. This recipe is typical of the Tuscany region, where honey is a very commonly used ingredient. Preparing honey bread takes a bit of time and patience, but the final result is definitely worth it. Try this delicious variation of classic bread and let yourself be won over by the sweetness of honey!

Dissolve the yeast together with the sugar in a glass of lukewarm water
Meanwhile, warm the cream slightly and in a bowl mix it with the honey, a pinch of salt and a quarter of the flour
Now add the glass with the yeast and the rest of the flour little by little, working vigorously
Cover the container with a clean cloth and let it rest for half an hour
After this time, work the dough on the pastry board for a few minutes, give it the shape you want and place it in an oiled baking pan, cover again and let it rise until it doubles in volume
At this point bake in the oven at maximum temperature for the first quarter of an hour, then lower the temperature and cook for half an hour
As soon as it comes out of the oven, brush the surface with liquid honey

Every product available on the marketplace is listed and sold by a partner seller indicated on the product page. The platform acts as a metasearch/marketplace: it facilitates discovery and checkout, but the sale is carried out by the seller, who becomes the party responsible for the transaction.
Shipping is handled directly by the seller partner. The package leaves the seller's warehouse, or its logistics network, and is handed over to the carrier. This model enables more efficient deliveries and ensures that order management is handled by those who actually have the product available.
On the product page you will find ingredients, allergens and nutritional information according to the data provided by the seller or manufacturer, i.e. the official label. If you have allergies or intolerances, we recommend that you carefully check the product page before purchasing and contact the seller with any specific questions.
The platform was created to promote and make Italian food Made in Italy more accessible. We select e-commerce food sellers with coherent catalogs and transparent information. Each product is linked to an identifiable seller and a complete information sheet: we want buying here to mean buying with confidence.
Delivery times and costs depend on the seller and the destination. At checkout you will always find the current delivery estimate before confirming payment. For international shipments, times may vary depending on the country and the carrier.
