Baked cod with vegetables is a delicious main dish based on cod, bacon and mixed vegetables. Sprinkle the fish steaks with lemon juice and salt them.
Cut the carrots into rounds and the onion into wedges. Cut the potatoes into wedges as well and get some florets from the broccoli and cauliflower.
In a baking dish, melt the butter and season the vegetables in it for about ten minutes, stirring constantly. Add salt and pepper.
Arrange the fish steaks on top, cover the dish and place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 40 minutes.
During the last quarter of an hour, lower the temperature to 180 degrees.
Remove from the oven, arrange the fish on a serving plate together with the vegetables and garnish with lemon slices. Serve.
