Clean and wash the spinach thoroughly

Bring to a boil over medium heat, lower the flame, and reduce the liquid by half
Remove, season with salt and pepper, let cool slightly, then incorporate the softened butter into the mixture, stir, and return to the heat
Use a whisk to continue mixing until the sauce reaches a certain consistency
Add a few thyme leaves
Sprinkle the spinach with grated cheese and cover it with the white sauce
