Roast turkey with fruit stuffing is a traditional dish perfect for special occasions. The fruit stuffing, with renette apples, dried prunes and walnut kernels, gives the turkey a sweet and aromatic flavor. The turkey meat, brushed with melted butter and extra virgin olive oil, is tender and succulent. Slow cooking in the oven allows the flavors to blend perfectly. This dish originates from northern Italy and is a delight for the palate.
Every product available on the marketplace is listed and sold by a partner seller indicated on the product page. The platform acts as a metasearch/marketplace: it facilitates discovery and checkout, but the sale is carried out by the seller, who becomes the party responsible for the transaction.
Shipping is handled directly by the seller partner. The package leaves the seller's warehouse, or its logistics network, and is handed over to the carrier. This model enables more efficient deliveries and ensures that order management is handled by those who actually have the product available.
On the product page you will find ingredients, allergens and nutritional information according to the data provided by the seller or manufacturer, i.e. the official label. If you have allergies or intolerances, we recommend that you carefully check the product page before purchasing and contact the seller with any specific questions.
The platform was created to promote and make Italian food Made in Italy more accessible. We select e-commerce food sellers with coherent catalogs and transparent information. Each product is linked to an identifiable seller and a complete information sheet: we want buying here to mean buying with confidence.
Delivery times and costs depend on the seller and the destination. At checkout you will always find the current delivery estimate before confirming payment. For international shipments, times may vary depending on the country and the carrier.

Wash the prunes, place them in a cup and cover them with hot water, leaving them for a few hours until they have softened and swollen.
Peel the apples, cut them into small cubes and sprinkle them with lemon juice so they do not turn brown.
Cut the bread crumb into small cubes as well, place it in a bowl, sprinkle it with the melted butter and mix well.
Add the apple cubes, the prunes cut into small pieces, the chopped walnuts, a generous grind of pepper, a heaped teaspoon of salt and mix carefully to distribute the ingredients well.
Flame the turkey and empty it.
Remove any feathers from the skin and wash it thoroughly under running water, then dry it inside as well, patting it with kitchen paper.
Season the inside of the turkey with salt and pepper and fill it with the prepared stuffing.
Sew the two openings of the bird with a large needle and strong white thread, then tie the legs and wings so they remain close to the body.
Prepare a very fine chop with the green pepper, the leaves from a sprig of rosemary, five or six sage leaves and a teaspoon of thyme.
Brush the turkey completely with the oil and press the prepared chop onto it, coating the entire skin.
Place it in a large baking dish, preferably with an internal rack, and put it in the oven previously heated to 180 degrees.
After the first half hour, cover the breast with a sheet of aluminum foil, which you will remove during the last hour of cooking.
