Stuffed meatloaf is a traditional Italian dish, very tasty and full of flavor. Its preparation takes a bit of time, but the final result is definitely worth the wait. The meatloaf is filled with sausage, rice, chard and Parmesan cheese, which meld together to create a creamy and flavorful filling. It is a perfect dish to serve as a main course for a special lunch or dinner.

The veal should be minced and the rice already boiled
Clean and wash the chard several times
Remove the stalk and blanch only the green leaves in salted boiling water for a few seconds
Drain them, pat them dry with paper towels and chop them finely
Clean and chop the onion
In a pan, heat a tablespoon of oil and a tablespoon of broth and stew the chopped onion in it for five minutes
Boil three eggs for five minutes
Drain them and immediately run them under cold running water to stop the cooking: the yolks must remain soft
Heat the oven to 200 degrees
Remove the casing from the sausage and crumble it
In a bowl, put the veal, the sausage, the rice, three tablespoons of Parmesan, the onion, the thyme, the remaining egg, the egg white, salt and pepper
Mix carefully to combine all the ingredients
Grease a sheet of baking paper with the oil
Transfer the meat mixture onto the paper sheet
Place a sheet of cling film on top and, using a rolling pin, roll out the mixture to a thickness of 2 cm, giving it a rectangular shape
Remove the cling film
Spread a layer of chard over the rectangle of meat, sprinkle with the remaining grated Parmesan and arrange the hard-boiled eggs in the center lengthwise
Using the baking paper, roll up the meat, brush it with oil and flavor it with two sprigs of thyme
Wrap the meat completely in the baking paper and tie it with kitchen twine
Place the meatloaf in a baking dish and bake
Let it cook for twenty minutes, then lower the temperature to 180 degrees and continue cooking for another thirty minutes

Every product available on the marketplace is listed and sold by a partner seller indicated on the product page. The platform acts as a metasearch/marketplace: it facilitates discovery and checkout, but the sale is carried out by the seller, who becomes the party responsible for the transaction.
Shipping is handled directly by the seller partner. The package leaves the seller's warehouse, or its logistics network, and is handed over to the carrier. This model enables more efficient deliveries and ensures that order management is handled by those who actually have the product available.
On the product page you will find ingredients, allergens and nutritional information according to the data provided by the seller or manufacturer, i.e. the official label. If you have allergies or intolerances, we recommend that you carefully check the product page before purchasing and contact the seller with any specific questions.
The platform was created to promote and make Italian food Made in Italy more accessible. We select e-commerce food sellers with coherent catalogs and transparent information. Each product is linked to an identifiable seller and a complete information sheet: we want buying here to mean buying with confidence.
Delivery times and costs depend on the seller and the destination. At checkout you will always find the current delivery estimate before confirming payment. For international shipments, times may vary depending on the country and the carrier.
