The Cinta Senese Crostino from the Il Poggio farm is produced without preservatives, colourings or artificial flavourings. The meat used is Cinta Senese, an Italian pig breed originating in the Montagnola Senese. Its very distinctive and intense flavour recalls the typical tastes of Tuscan culinary tradition. The special features of the sauces are the prime cuts of meat and traditional recipes. The sauces are prepared with a base of finely chopped fresh vegetables (onion, celery, carrot, etc.). Once the vegetables have softened, the meat is added for the first stage of cooking. The minced meat finishes cooking slowly with the addition of wine, tomatoes from our garden and other ingredients. The very long cooking times create a strong and balanced flavour, guaranteeing excellent, truly homemade quality.
